Saturday, we celebrated our godchild's first birthday party. What a wonderful day it was! It was beyond the party - the clown, the cake, the games, the candies, etc. It was more of togetherness and more of always being there for each other.

I marked that as the day when I genuinely and completely grasped how much we've changed and grown.

Eight years ago, God plunked us together. And now, I know very well that He did that for a reason, that He had a purpose far beyond what we could have imagined. Today, that purpose had burst into flames, right before my very own eyes.

We are still together now, because we are the best people who will fight tooth and nail to be there for one another; the best people who will go extra miles to help one another; and the best people to overcome each of our own weaknesses to be strong for one another. We may not understand each other all the time, but we never judge.

To my dearest friends, I love you all!

To Pia, we all love you. We hope that we can be there for you more often than we do now. We'll always try to be the best parents for you. We wish that you grow happy, contented, grateful, and truly beautiful. Always remember that you are extremely blessed.
